Green Claims Checker

From 27 September 2026 EU law bans generic environmental claims like "eco-friendly", offset-based "carbon neutral" claims and home-made eco labels. Green Claims Checker finds that wording in your Shopify product text, in nine EU languages, and tells you how to fix each one.

Install it from the Shopify App Store, then open it from Apps in your Shopify admin.

Product text, field by field. Titles, descriptions, SEO text, product types and tags, checked against the directive's banned practices.
Nine languages. English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Swedish and Danish.
Fixes, not just flags. Each finding says why it is a problem, how to reword it, and which part of the law applies.
